The Messengers (our Small Group/Sunday School Class) have been meeting at Cinzetti's in Northglenn for our annual Christmas brunch for many years now. About 18 of us met this Saturday the 6th. The food is good and the price is pretty affordable, plus it's TRADITION!
We are grateful to Don Bechtold for his good teaching. We've been studying the book of Exodus, and with the Advent Season, we've begun a study in Isaiah. For those of you who are familiar with the 3-hour version of Handel's Messiah, it's hard to read passages of Isaiah without hearing the music in your head. (Comfort ye, comfort ye my people...every mountain shall be exalted...and the glory, the glory of the Lord, shall be revealed...etc.) Dr. Bechtold, who is a psychologist, said there is a program of treatment for this. You'll be proud that I didn't break into song during class.
